Wizard World Chicago 2012
Our first time on the other side of the Artist Alley table—our debut comic con as vendors. We had an absolute blast and officially caught the con-life bug. I still remember staying up all night before the show, scrambling to get everything ready. Hand-painted skateboards were drying in the backyard while helicopters circled overhead, searching for someone. Never did find out who or why—but I had bigger things to focus on. This time, I came with a comic book–themed setup, and it really connected. People were into it, and the response was incredible. Our first time tabling at a con? A chaotic, beautiful success. -MH
